" I wouldnt judge droprate based on greater jewellers orbs...those were always rare. Regal and Exalt orbs however...they drop a lot less in 0.2 and yeah bosses drops are bad now for some reasons. Tech guy

I was thinking about it yesterday. The orbs should drop not 300%, but more like 1000% more often. All kinds. Game should be balanced for SSF. I play in trade, but it would make no difference if the price for something is 4 exalted or 400 if they drop more often.
Going through the campaign not wanting to try and upgrade my gear because I only have 2 exalted in act3 feels turbo bad. And magic find should only apply to gear not currency. (which I think is already the case, but not sure) |

I never understood why they have over a hundred low-level uniques and yet you're lucky to find over 1-2 on your journey to endgame. Some don't find any just being unlucky.
Then once you make it to mapping you're inundated with multiple copies of crappy uniques when you don't need them. They really should increase the drop rate while doing the campaign. Seems like a lot of work that goes into designing these uniques and yet cap the drop rate so low that they essentially are useless unless you have time to play multiple classes per each league. |

Unfortunately their "vision" is ruthless on steroids. Something no one asked for, but they seem insistent on pushing on everybody. I love it for them that they see this as their vision, unfortunately 99.9% of their playerbase does not.

The drop rates are really bad versus the effort involved. Killing rare mobs getting stuff you cant use is one thing. Recently I have killed rare mobs and have not got any drops at all. It has to be broken.
also before anyone chimes in with treasure find. I cant get that to drop to get something better to drop. The same person would tell a starving man to "just go find a ham sandwich" Also has it not all ready been long established that every ARPG that tries to implement treasure find has found it to be hated by players and eventually scraps it because its junk? Bake drop rates in so your player base with terrible luck like me can get some loot even if it will be bad so i can crunch it and craft my own. I am not a POE1 player but didn't they learn this lesson there and for some reason doing it again? It frustrating watching studios learn all these lessons the hard way and then forget it. Or watching competitors also fail at it and not learning from them. |

I love the loot and crafting system in Grim Dawn.
I hope GGG will take some inspiration from it. Pain is Good for it lets me know that I am still alive.
