please stop the force based relating
Hello.
It's fine to have a different opinion and heavily disagree with me (or someone else) with how the game should become. However what I see here in the forum and elsewhere is not a mere expression of differing opinions: There is something like an emotional undercurrent in many writings that feels like targeting the developers (if I imagine myself in their position) or players with opposing views with a kind of emotional force. This includes, but is not limited to: expressions of ill-will or personal attacks, painting a picture of poe 2 headed towards a certain financial disaster, ridicule, avoidance of rational arguments and instead use of verbal figures like exaggerations for higher emotional impact and more. There are people review bombing the game on steam with 5+ different accounts each - specifically targeting a an issue they want changed. This is nothing less than trying to intentionally causing financal harm to GGG through manipulation of the public appeareance of the game. This latter behaviour is in no way acceptable. Just stop the force based relating. This is a video game and not a war. Last bumped8 апр. 2025 г., 15:52:56

You really think people are logging into steam on 5 different accounts and buying a game they don't like anymore just to review bomb it? Not a chance. The reviews are mostly negative this week because the vast majority of players do not like this. That's the reality like it or not.

Dont do this. Report people making posts that break forum rules. Dont respond to them, let them die so useful posts will hopefully take over. There are a dozen other posts saying the same thing you are and they are doing nothing except inciting more forum arguments.

" It's crazy how obvious it is. I swear people are so stupid you could change the color or oranges to purple and there would still be people telling you they're orange. This game is shit now. It's confirmed. They wrecked it. Now we get to wait 2 years for it to ultimately return to a playable state because Jonathan has a "vision" or whatever. |

Yes, I do know someone who knows such people personally. You can actually look for yourself: there are lots of recent negative steam reviews with extremly low playtimes (0,1-0,3 hours, you can sort reviews by this). They don't actually need to pay money for the game on steam, there are ways around this.
Maybe Kanoxuk is right, I'm not sure. |

" You know someone who knows someone? So you don't know anyone? You sort reviews by "minimum" playtime not "maximum". The vast majority of negative reviews are in the mid hundreds or hours, positive reviews all read the same. The game is super fun and the combo mechanics are awesome super fun. I love the way this game is turning out, don't listen to the negative reviews they all need to gitgud. Or words to that effect and all 1 paragraph, sometimes one word like "awesome". Pretty sure GGG can create 20000 accounts and AI generate 20k reviews in 5 minutes. You can do it from the same PC. I doubt they did but they sell $500 support packs based on one game then change the game, bait and switch. This used to be illegal so who knows what lengths a company owned by tencent is willing to go? I know GGG have lied their collective arses off to bait people to fund their "vision", that is a fact. |
