Switching weapons with totems

I currently have a build going with a two-handed mace in one set and a crossbow in the other, though it's mostly focused on using artillery ballistas.

If my crossbow has something like increased elemental damage to attacks or +x level to projectile skills, will the ballistas keep those boosts if I switch to the mace? Also, if the mace has any boosts, would the ballistas get those upon switching to it?
