Reviews Overwhelmingly Negative

I understand the frustration, but it's important to remember we're still in early access at patch 0.20. There’s plenty of development ahead, and I’m hopeful the devs will iron out these issues over time.

I've burned out this league already I can't do the campaign again I just don't have the willpower for it but next time i'm just going to do something I know works rather than something experimental and I know i'm going to enjoy the game more.

and what are you playing (i am on lightning twister ritualist)? so far only thing i seen that really doesnt work are minions.

I have no idea what you're on about. They've announced like 3 groups of changes in the past week, responding within days.
Buffing casters, reducing area sizes, adding in artificer orbs, etc.

If anything this whole thing has made me realize the audience is made up of insufferable morons.

When players complain that other builds have no damage, and instead of adding damage the devs decide to change the zones — do you really consider that a solution to the actual problem?

Right now, everyone’s playing the new classes. I don’t like those classes — they’re not my playstyle. What if I want to play Monk? Stacker? Minions or Spark?

I understand that over the years, PoE1 players often criticized the devs just for the sake of it, and because of that, the team probably developed a kind of immunity to that feedback. So now they’re used to ignoring players like me. But let’s be honest — there’s no fun, no loot. The devs suggest using yellow gear for a smoother experience… but what if I don’t even have that?

Every time I leveled up, I teleported to town to check the vendor’s inventory — and there was nothing for my build. There was gear for other builds, so I took it and put it up for trade, but nobody has bought any of it to this day.

I truly believe and hope they bring damage back. Bring it back for everyone, not just the spear.
And please keep the new content — I actually like the new content, but I can’t interact with it because I die instantly. I want to play the game, not suffer through it — like so many thousands of players on Steam right now.

In the first 3 months, this game had a stable 300,000 players online. The devs did an incredible job. I, along with probably a million others, fell in love with this game.
But now… this feels like a completely different game, one that’s lost everything we loved.

And let me say it again — I’m not a PoE1 player. They can release that league a thousand years from now for all I care. I’m just happy they gave all their attention to the second game.

Maturity, discipline and skill aren't so abundant with most gamers...

PoE2 is still great to play and still rewards investment, even if you can't do a ridiculous overpowered nerdy build (or in most cases, copied someone else's creation).

Most of you don't even know what a bad game is, I've suffered a few mmorpg's fail miserably with their expansions, skill and economy balancing and just recently, I had to finally lose all hope in Tekken because what they've done to Tekken 8 is literally insulting to all human intelligence, even scrubs and super casuals can't make sense of it.

I was doing full fire/ignite spear but ignite just sucks really (it was good for the campaign though pretty comfortable) and I respecced into bleed to see if that was any better. Oh I did try fire spell on hit/ cast on ignite/ elemental invocation and my GOD was that bad holy shit so bad.

Bleed is passable, but its kinda solidified my view that all the damaging ailments aside from poison are just shite, now bleed working on ES will be a major improvement but it doesn't change that its just a shit hit build albeit with some very cool interactions.

Bleed doesn't have a screen clear either and that's whats required for endgame at the current pacing.

Basically I've reached a stage where I know I can improve the character with levels/gear but at absolute peak its going to be about 10% of what an actually good build is and that just immediately kills my desire. Also compounded by the fact my farm speed is miniscule compared to the shaping up meta for the league.

You are obviously more aware of what fun is than us unwashed masses who have been in game design most of our lives, until it became toxic.

This is an ARPG, not a MMORPG, and there are people that want to play solo in a game. Even an MMORPG if that was the case.

There are many people that will not pay to win, and test to see if Pay to Win is the main motivator for the game.

WTF is Tekken? Isn't that a Street Fighter rip off?

my mate is playing bleed build with spear field, hes slightly behind me but everything dies super fast for him too. 3rd ascension boss died below 10 seconds. (thats all SSF)
