Further Changes From Today

I disagree with a lot of the nerf changes. The community wants brain dead zoom zoom gameplay that leaked through into Poe2 so it’s impossible to remove it now without hurting the fanbase as if the shills weren’t bad enough.

A simple change to give them the dopamine they crave is to rebalance monster structure, Create weaker versions of monsters which have less item drop chance, life and xp and sprinkle them all over the maps while putting the “Poe2” enemies around objectives. For example, Most of the mobs in The Red Veil would be “Weaker” versions but at each rune site those enemies would be up to snuff. This can also be used to set up check point sequences around the map by having them “guarded” by Poe2 mobs.

Due to the nature of such a change it would probably have to be done a different way such as creating new versions of existing enemies and nerfing existing ones.

Everyone wins? Poe2 maintains its difficulty by say-having harder enemies deeper in maps near bosses, like in Manor the first 2 floors could be filled with “easy monsters” then it ramps up by the end. In other cases you could have stronger enemies around the bramble area after the graveyard encouraging players to go more towards the center.

On a different note can we get a new beacon on the map -guarded by “poe2/rare” monster/s which-when activated will unlock the check points in the map allowing the player to go straight to the next zone?
A good example of this is -again, The bramble area. By clearing the ritual site you would be able to see where the waypoints are on the map so you know where to go.

Fix goddamn skills. You nerfed every piece of the game and now we literally have 2-3 builds that can farm the game. Your desire to make game harder and less enjoyable are destroying entire experience.
Your 70% more damage to minions doesn't change a lot after taking x6 away. Math works different way.

Where is the point of slowing the game?
That behavior ruins the economy. 50% population will play on the fast and powerful builds while other half will struggle for ability to farm as fast as economy changes. We have Ruthless in POE1. How many people plays it? Right.

Genius! Thank you, I just started a sorceress playthrough and this exact problem made me roll my eyes to the other side of my head just a few hours ago.

Very cool patch, it's great to see you guys implementing these changes so quickly. However I hope the overall 'feel' of the game remains in place, just without some of the more frustrating and 'unfair' feeling things.

Guessed I won't be playing a Monk for now (kind of hoping it would get some little buffs as well as it's hard to carry the class right now esp in comparison to the essential changes for the other classes).

Gotta pick a meta one then :)
