Spectres Not as Advertised?

Why is it that in the videos for this skill we saw the enemies retain their abilities but any Spectre that I capture turns into the basic version with no special modifiers?

Raised Rares Do Not Possess Modifiers
If you manage to turn rare monsters to spectres, do know that they won't be able to carry over their modifiers as rare enemies. It's more important to determine the monster type you wish to turn to spectres.

Companions are minions. Tame beast is a minion skill.

I meant it's not as fun to have a tamed beast keep its mods when you can't also make a cool spectre that also does. Spectres are absolute garbage.

Spectres cost less spirit and you can summon multiple of them. Of course a higher cost minion with a limit of 1 is going to be stronger.
