Finished the campaign

So, I decided to give Path of Exile 2 a go. I'm a huge fan of Diablo 4 (My favorite game), but now that the D4 season is winding down, I decided to try PoE 2. It started out really well; the combat has a nice pace. Maybe it felt a little bit slow at first, but that was okay. I got used to it, and now I feel that thanks to this slower pace, you can really take in the environment and appreciate the world more.

The thing is, I just completed the campaign (It took me a bit over a week). When I finally finished it, I was happy, thinking, 'Now I can get into the endgame activities and stuff!' However, my understanding is that I'll have to complete the campaign again. I really don't want to do that, I'm bored of the campaign now.

The campaign was okay, but I don't want to have to do it multiple times every time a new league starts. So, my question is: Are there any plans to allow players to complete the campaign just once, and then offer an option to skip it or level differently in new leagues after that initial completion?

If I'm not having fun, I don't want to play, and after trying to play through Act 1 again in higher difficulty I just felt so bored.

The GOOD answer is...

The campaign is 6 Acts but they have only finished making 3 so they are making us do the first 3 twice. At launch Acts 1 to 6 will be the full story campaign.

The BAD answer is...

In the history of POE 1 they have always made players do the full story campaign every season. However good players could get through the campaign in POE very quickly compared to how long it takes the same players to get through POE 2.

Okay, thank you for the answers. Well, I suppose there's nothing more to be done about it. It's a shame they decided on the same approach as PoE 1; I had hoped they would have done things differently this time. I played the first game quite a bit but grew tired of having to repeat the campaigns over and over, so I lost interest. I'm feeling a similar effect with this one. However, it was worth the money anyway; I had a good experience, and it was challenging. And we never know if GGG decide to change it in the future, until then I can play other games. The new update on Last Epoch looks epic though!
