LOAD SCREENS ARE TERRIBLE

LOAD SCREENS ARE WORSE. LITERALLY TAKES FOREVER TO LOAD. YOU CAN RUN AROUND AND VISIT VENDORS USING THE MINI MAP BEFORE THE SCREEN EVEN LOADS FFS.


IDC IF THIS IS THE 400TH MILLION POST ON THE TOPIC. IT JUST SUCKS.

I get this on my laptop but not on my desktop.

Load times on my friend's PC are crazy, like 2-3 minutes to load into a zone. Makes trading for him near impossible since most folks bail before he zones into their Hideout (or he gets to town). Other games on that PC run great.

We've tried DX11, DX12 and Vulkan. Used the Nvidia app to optimize the game. Tried reinstalling. Tried Windowed, Fullscreen Windowed and Fullscreen. Enabled XMP on the CPU in the BIOS (this actually made it worse!). We're out of ideas for why this game loads so slow.

SSD: Samsung 860 Evo 500gb
CPU: Intel i5-8400
GPU: GTX 1070 Ti
RAM: 32 GB

I had this happening, until i moved the game onto my SSD. Much faster ever since.

It's not GGG fault. Every time there is a progress to minimize loading time, NVDIA brings new drivers that aren't compatible with the version of game. I sticked to old drivers becouse i have better reload time in maps. The newest driver updates make 30 sec to reload map.
