Xbox Game Share
" They tried to farm Xbox community to get easy income from MTX and EA. They not invested time at all to even check part of agreement on their side coming into Xbox/Microsoft territory. Main feature of Xbox made them realise afterwards, that they cant leech $ from family members on scale they would like to and so decided to backwalk from whole thing. Rage blocked Xbox players calling them bots, without contacting Xbox/Microsoft. TLDR: Golddiggers. Polski kanał globalny SSF

" OK, lets do this... What people refer as 'Xbox game share' is actually what is commercialy designed as 'XBox Home', which is designed for people to share subscriptions like XBox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold, and to share games, THOUGH nowhere it is written that ALL games are eligible to be shared, if I am wrong please point me to where such is stated... In fact, PoE 2 as an early access which according to XBOX is not elegible for sharing as PoE 2 has not yet been released... Now if you go to Xbox Game Preview FAQ, you clearly can read that publishers can restrict sharing of specific content. So, it's kind a FUBAR for XBox users which could be dubbed as stupid consumers for not knowing the terms and conditions of the service they subscribe and for not looking for information that is clearly out in the open by XBox. It's cool that OECD is going to use indexes like «functional iliteracy» :) All this topic seems to be a cool example of on how our society of hot shots is actually bad... |

" Lets put it in a clear way: PoE2 is early access not a full released game, as such publishers can restrict how this content is available according to XBox own documentation, I refer you to the XBox Game Preview FAQ. This topic is no more than an angry mob grabbing torches and pitchforks marching for a cause that has no substance according to XBox own documentation. Furthermore the use of 'XBox Home' which appears to be refered as XBox Game sharing in this thread also states that this service is meant to be shared inside of the same house hold, which is not an issue for your situation but it for some other comments. This feature used outside of this scope is a violation of XBox terms :) What I really would like to see while I grab some popcorn is why no one is going for the epic law suit :) Courts are better at deciding this than an angry mob with torches and pitchforks. |

" Dude, the sharing mentioned in the FAQ that can get restricted is NOT game sharing. It's sharing in the sense of sharing a video or screenshot. Read it again and you will agree. https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/xbox-game-preview-faq Also, where did you read that according to Xbox this is game isn't eligible to game share??? Because I got my refund RIGHT AWAY when I told Xbox support what happened to me and my partner Also, regarding Game Share "What you can share Share these with anyone who signs in to your home Xbox: Games and downloadable content from the Microsoft Store Games from an Xbox Game Pass subscription Account-specific items can’t always be shared. Some examples are: Game-specific content like Minecraft Skin Mashups or Halo REQ Packs purchased with in-game currencies In-game currency such as Minecraft Coins Certain pre-order bonuses and special edition content that can only be redeemed once" https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/console/my-home-xbox It's clear that you can share games, but not microtransactions. I've been using this system in my home for years, including other game preview titles, and the only I had problem was with POE2. That says a lot That being said, you talk a big game for someone that read a FAQ, posted here, but failed to interpret it properly 😅 I won't be reading your reply and I hope other folks see this thread as a form of understanding what is going on and get properly informed. pretending you fight bots while everyone knows you don't fight bots at all.

The reality, your argument being correct or not, is that on Reddit there are multiple posts of pics showing Microsoft issuing refunds for this revocation and that’s proof enough to show that GGG is either in breach of MS ToS or have made severely unwise decision to make this move as those refunds are (more than) likely to overtake any additional 30$ EA key revenues and increase player resentment (also potentially reducing revenue streams).
TLDR: players are upset, less likely to buy MTX and Microsoft are issuing refunds. Edit: for myself I haven’t refunded my MTX (which under Game Sharing my son doesn’t get, and that’s correct interpretation of what you mentioned) and my son has bought an EA key, but we are both extremely disinclined to spend more with GGG until this awful decision is reversed. " Yep, indeed. I will also stop reading his posts as its bullguano and hes trying gaslight people who been affected by this GGG's faux pas. The only pitchfork i seen is the one he self-punctured his own foot with. Polski kanał globalny SSF

asking people who can´t afford a proper pc to suddenly spend more money on a game?
what did you expect, ggg? the interesting part though, is that someone obviously simulated a xbox client for botting. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

" Maybe but doubtful. In developer mode you can only run offline UWP code, and can’t go online. If someone has managed to make a private Xbox hack and run unsigned code online MS has very strong protective code on their Live servers and that consoles hardware ID would get banned in less than an hour (I remember this from old 360 days). And without a hacked console you just can’t run unsigned code at all. I can’t even think of a way a PC (with say the XDK) could even simulate being an Xbox on the Live network. Edit: I’d love to see some evidence from GGG of these alleged Xbox bot groups. Only thing I can think of is using an “AI” on a PC with the disability controller to control an Xbox (or several), but that seems like a lot of work for no reason when you’d just make the PC bot. And also why (if doing that) would you just simulate Xboxes and not PlayStations as well? I still don't have access to the game, I didn't steal anything, I didn't share my account, I invested 500 coins, I'm not a bot and I can't buy the cheapest access on my xbox account because I already have it!!! Will someone sort this out?
