People seem to be focussed on whinging about zoomers vs masochists so they ignore the fact GGG made a lot of skinning updates in these patches. There's some really cool stuff in there, particularly around the UI.
If there's more than about 15Mb of code I'd be surprised; the rest is textures for the skins and UI and whatnot.

Also, depending on how they're storing them, e.g. it might be 20Mb of textures updated but the texture DB file is 8Gb so its always going to be a 8Gb patch because most platforms haven't figured out rsync yet.

I've noticed at least 3 additions in the campaign as well; e.g.
