Powerful Minions Monster Modifier not working?

I recently caught a companion with the monster modifier: Powerful Minions out of curiosity. I didn't find any changes to witch minions stats even though on the PoE2 wiki stated it increased:

[Minions have 25% increased Damage]
[Minions have 50% increased maximum Life]

Am I doing something wrong, used the wrong minions, interpreted the meaning of "Minions", or is the modifier currently bugged? If anyone can enlighten me, it would be much appreciated.
