Add Grim Feast back, help save the game.

Can you explain how a grim feast which doesn't bring your ES above max would be much different than using a couple 2% to life on kill jewels? You dont even have to pick anything up off the ground for those.

Life is meant to be easy to recover. ES is extra pool that is meant to be hard to recover. Do you have a lot of ES on kill jewels?

There is *zero* question that Grim Feast needed to be removed from the game, at least temporarily...

Why? There should be other survivability options that work, and it's very hard for GGG to see how other options perform in the wild when *everyone* is using grim feast.

If we are all running around with 2k health and dying, they'll see it in the stats and have a better insight into how to fix it in builds without grim feast... (crossing fingers, we can hope)
grim feast has nothing to do with how boring the game is. its a fundamental issue.

That doesnt even exist ??

And if ES is hard to recover, then practically speaking, you dont have it in a bunch of scenarios where you need it. Therefore you may as well plan to not have it at all. What a great defense.

There must be a way to fit one of them in. Ventors, spirit on chest, amulet, drop one skill you don't use often, idk. It's your build you will work it out. Hardly seems like a lack of Grim Feast issue.


Latest update allows bleed to be applied through ES. Poison absolutely bypasses ES. Ive already got double ventor's and infernalists extra spirit ascendancy. Even with more spirit I don't have a spare skill slot. I dont want grim feast back. I want more options.

I don't think bringing back Grim Feast will save the game whatsoever.

Nerfing Acrobatics on top of that though? That was very questionable, and I don't think that was a good idea. Evasion on its own is pretty weak, but evasion with ES is arguably the strongest defense in the game. Nerfing everyone's ES in half was a huge nerf to that strategy already, which is why I totally disagree with them nerfing Acrobatics.

Energy shield is in a good enough spot right now, but can be made even better with a new spirit skill (that they said they would add due to taking away Grim Feast). Convalescence seems like a pretty weak skill though for the 30 spirit cost. Not sure why they decided to give it a mana cost of 20, and a 30 second cooldown...

Yeah most pure defenses are bad unless you can cover their weaknesses somehow. ES players finding this hard to deal with apparently. Play es/evasion for better sustain or try armor/es with zealots oath and regen stacking. Otherwise you have plenty of other defensive solutions like mind over matter, blood mage life overflow, eternal youth, lich, recoup with stormweaver, stacking faster start of recharge, playing cold for freeze or lightning electrocute.

They also probably don't care that Steam players alone has dropped by 100,000 since patch launch, and it's decreasing by 10,000 per day
