Couple of small-ish issues from a ARPG newbie
After playing since day one of EA, I thought I should perhaps share a few small things that I noticed since I started playing the game.
First, since the number of monsters has been toned down, I find that about half the time I start a new character, even if I kill all the monsters before going for the Miller, I can't get enough XP to level up. Now I still can kill him, but I thought leveling up should probably be part of the tutorial. Second, chests. Opening a blue or even a yellow chest only to get a few bucks is kinda disappointing. Personally, I think a blue chest should hold at least one blue and a yellow at least one yellow item. On a similar note are Urns/bottles. Perhaps one in 50 hold anything, which isn't a big deal once I have AOE attacks, but early game, when I have to manually hit each of them, it's simply not worth the effort - might want to look into that Third and lastly, Strongboxes. I love the mechanic overall, but the rewards are a very mixed bag. I had strongboxes that threw an absolute avalanche of loot and currency at me...and then there were those, where after beating 5 or 6 mobs, all I got was a white, superior mace and a few pieces of gold. Maybe you could implement a somewhat higher "bottom" on what is at least in a strongbox. Ok, that's it for now. Last bumped18 апр. 2025 г., 13:05:02
