Community loss

So Previously Jewels were super strong, and plenty of spots for them. The best place to get Jewels were/are Ascendency trials. Removing half the Jewel slots and changing the jewels stats, removed the need to run the trials for perfect roll chances and corruption. This destroyed a lot of the community that was built up around it. There were constant runs available, for free or super cheap. This was huge on alts and mains alike. It was so prevalent anyone could get to the first ascendency and get a full 8 point run in the first day of an alt. Replay ability loss.

I just wanted to point out the huge loss created in the wake.

(Not to mention runs trying to get the Relic for the chest)

That’s a great point — and honestly, it lines up with what I’ve been seeing across the forum. A lot of the chase items that were removed or nerfed fall into the same category. They were reasons to push your build, min-max, and keep going.

Anytime devs start stripping out meaning - it’s like watching a slow death. Not dramatic. Just the gradual erosion of purpose.
