Are Strongbox Atlas Nodes Bugged?

I'm just curious, but are the strongbox atlas nodes bugged at all? I really enjoy the unique strongboxes, so I specced into the atlas nodes to find more, but literally ever since I put points into the node "High-Value Thefts" (Strongboxes in your maps have 60% increased chance to be Rare/Strongboxes in your maps have 30% increased chance to be unique) I haven't found ANY unique strongboxes. I think I've done 60+ maps. Am I simply underestimating the rarity of these?

I also had this problem, found 2 strongboxes prior to respecting and after respecting to strongbox atlas found none, but probably just unlucky. 30% increase could be 0.3% if base chance to spawn unique is 1% making it 1.3% to get that unique strongbox

Yes, those nodes do nothing same as exile ones

I have the same issues with the Rogue Exile nodes, they pretty much stopped appearing when I sppeced into them and they started re-appear when I specced out of it. Could be random but the coincidence was strange.

Been having this issue too... Specced into both Researcher's Plunder and High-Value Thefts DAYS ago and have yet to see a single Ventor's strongbox since doing so. In fact, the only unique strongbox I've seen since doing so has been one or two Jeweler's Boxes (bug).

AFAIK - they seem to have ninja-nerfed the spawn rate of the Ventors Box like 2 weeks ago supposedly - I felt the nerf and if you watch Alkaizer Youtube Vids he mentions the same thing. Its a shame because that box is so fun.

That would make sense, considering I was finding them maybe once a day back then; if there was a ninjanerf, it would have coincided with me getting the node. Yay for more mediocrity in the Atlas?

I tested the Rogue Exile nodes, out of 30 maps 2 appeared, none of them dropped unique gems, of course.

I reset to my default, everything in the new league I think is 'meh' or not working.

Or you had slightly higher than average rolls for awhile and then slightly lower than average rolls for awhile, which taken together means you had average outcomes.

Nobody, YouTuber or otherwise, can use their personal anecdotal experience to determine with any degree of confidence whether there has been a nerf to something like this. I know you think you're capable of just "getting a vibe" for the RNG outcomes but you're not. Any pattern you think you're noticing is one your brain is trying to convince you is there because it likes patterns more than the alternative.

My friend has hit 4 Ventor's in the last 3 days and 3 of them dropped Perfect Jewler's so he might as well be on here talking about the "stealth buff."

I was waiting for you to respond to me. Youre the Jakker, Ashvey and Nahzer that responds to all topics. I will assume your friend is not 'you' as only the firsthand observer can determine something whether perceived as 'correct' or 'incorrect'. It doesnt matter to the one receiving hearsay (Kerchunk)- it only matters to the firsthand observer and as you said 'my friend' (the 1st hand observer) and you (3rd party, hearsay info).

Personally, as the 1st hand observer of playing for about 5 total days on one character the allegedly, perceived nerf was felt as I have not encountered a single Ventors since my 3rd day of playtime on the character and that was about 1.5 weeks ago and I clear maps to less than 50 monsters 90% of the time.

Granted, I have been slowing down my playtime since I am bored now and instead started playing DJMax on a Faucetwo control and its incredibly fun and rewarding pass time until my knee fully heals to play Pump It Up again.

Anyway, I was waiting for you to reply since you started popping up when ppl started complaining about 0.2 - Personally, I did like the patch since Day 1 and got sad when the Rares got weaker and when they started appearing on the map layouts.

Do you like Patch 0.2? I dont think I ever saw a reply where you mentioned how to felt about it.
