Killing immortal fury in a ritual zone prevents the ritual from ending

As the title says, I killed the immmortal fury as he was hovering a ritual then did the ritual and now cannot finish the ritual.

This just happened to me also. I was doing Abyss map and rest of Rituals are locked.Had to take a death to get out of Ritual.
