Are we playing the same Last Epoch? I never pick up crap in LE. Items are identified, literally all the crap is filtered out...

Being able to quickly tweak the filter within the game is also a huge factor: "oh, don't need this showing anymore?" 30 second fix without having to alt+tab.

Porting in and out due to inventory limited space implies you do drop loot, which makes your loot argument pointless? Because the current inventory size is not 1x1 to justify that you dropped only one thing and call "bad loot".

the issue with actually crafting is that the systems are so barebones and are basically ONLY gambling.

Identifying, in a way, adds a layer of curiosity.
you dont know what affixes gear has until you hover over it.

How long does it take you to clear PoE2's campaign and then PoE1's when the league is jut released? Sure PoE1's will be shorter due to movement skills, but by what amount? Not taking into account second character because usually you would have Seven-League Step which currently is not in Path of Exile 2 or any equivalent.
poe2 campaign = multiples longer.

I consider floating damage numbers a mobile game design, or very distant as a concept for what an ARPG should have.
- that was in games before modern mobile phones existed.
- its in basically every other arpg worth mentioning

never said it wouldnt be. it needs to get rolling asap tho
they cannot just put at every moment new methods,

How was first iteration of Last Epoch in terms of crafting? Still sky level in comparison with what PoE2 now offers?

I do agree to a point with map overlay, but that is only applied to certain maps I encountered where they are just "too bright", at least the surface, but for others maps I think is just fine, not very different from Path of Exile 1.
super small gripe, the UI for this in LE is just a bit cleaner imo.

I expected something that can be countable. By "multiples longer" I can think of you taking 12 hours to beat PoE1's campaign and PoE2's 3 days, which will imply that either game is totally unfair/difficult, or some poor choices made by the player.

Same applies to Last Epoch initial iteration.

Last Epoch is leaning heavily towards determinism when it comes to crafting, and indirectly by comparing it with Path of Exile 2 and saying that Last Epoch does it better means you want a more deterministic layer rather than "GAMBLING/RNG". Basically deterministic crafting = good (to you / some people here), less deterministic = bad; the easier is for you to have an item ending up with what mod you want the better.

Are you confident some additional slots will fix it? Sure you will be able to loot a bit more items from the ground, but if you still drop a lot of those in the early stages? Won't you still be required to in/out? As long as the inventory space doesn't grow in place, don't see that as a fix, rather a semi band-aid.

Floating numbers have a large impact on players actual sense of achievement and progression, they bring MEANINGFULL visuals of the actual player progression.

PoE2 from 1 to 100, you either 1 or 2 shot the opposition or grind the boss health bar. Actual damage number really help you FEEL your progression.

The best we can hope for is that Tencent takes over the disaster that the International Client of POE 2 has become, they can and will fix this.
