Are you kidding me? TQ2? I deleted Titan Quest 2 HC SSF in 10 hours slow lore run listening to all NPCs, watching everything, etc. It is a joke of an EA compared to PoE 2 EA. Production was mostly good, though. Sound too loud, graphics a bit cartoonish for my taste here and there. No target lock, no attack/cast while moving... Feels 2-decades-ago-ish. 🤣 It's Last Epoch kind of bad. I think I feel sorry for paying for it.
HC SSF. What else? Ruthless when?

TQ2 is an interesting game with potential, but I have a completely opposite problem with it than with Poe2. Where I died 100x in Poe2, I did not die with TQ2 even once on normal difficulty. With Ice Shards (Chaos and Homing skills), I kill all usually mobs far apart (unless it appears directly at me) and only the strongest bosses are some challenge. But even so 90% of the game I can do with the combination of Ice Shards and Storm Nimbus Aura. Virtually no challenge.

The amount of loot and its rarity looks fine, but I have unusually much money in the first chapter. Basically, I can buy anything.

+1. Both are early access and have potential. But not hearing the community voice , it will lead to disaster.
you know what, I complete the compaign without break.
Ngl, TQ2 for now feel more like a big demo than an EA. So it's really hard to judge its quality.

There is no challenge at the moment in PoE2. The whole challenge is to achieve the campaign facing with servers instabilities, network disruptions. That's the basement mechanism after all for a challenging experience.

And during, this wonderful experience you will face against an unbalanced game, with unbalanced gameplay facing to white mobs that obliterated you and if you choose the bosses fight path, you will enjoy spamming mechanics, body block mechanics and all that can hinder a fun and elevated gameplay. But as promising challenging. (slow pacing, do you see me ? I see you)

For crowning this amazing gaming experience, the endgame will summerize all this experience with density and quantity of these challenging mechanics in multiplication but with experience gain subtraction as death penalty of a user failure. That's called a demanding gameplay.

So yes, I firmly refute this assumption that "they" do not listen and heard the community, it is all the contrary.

When the communality ask to stop with the "whip" as gameplay mechanics, it gains a whip with nails (enfeeble + 40% of temporal chains as a secret update (lucky us)). This is the real proof of a deeply acknowledgement of a challenging and demanding gameplay, for sure. Yes we have been heard ! :)

SO : If TQ2 is not following this PoE2 same road, that's a good news because it means that they are on a good rails.

And it is not the case for every games........especially one at the moment

Indeed, maybe TQ2 and LE devs both develop their games with fun in mind, and we see where we get in a year or two.
I know what i'll be playing, and even D2 comes before this almost-excellent game.
