Grim Dawn is great game for trying a few builds. As long as you do not see it as "live service" model, and more single player games with replayability being trying other classes.

The world of Grim dawn is actually impressively big, and more current year with believable post apolcpse continuous overworld without load screen. Unlike PoE2 which still uses 2001 D2 level instances.

I just finished TQ2 and i must say it is boring.
Way too easy, i died 0 times with my 1st attempt. Figured on my own a build that carried me with 1 buttom throu whole game. Weapon on level 15 was enough for it.
Items felt not impactful at all.

Too easy, too boring, nothing there to hook me in. Build making also too streamlined, not much uniqueness to theorycraft.

Lol , I played Path of Exile 2 at release and I have not been back since, some of it was very good, some of it was not very good.

I still have hope for POE2, but I am dissapointed that the devs keep pushing back Druid, it would have been different if they didnt announce it as one of the first classes being released right after EA launches.

As for those hating on Last Epoch, I bet most of you have not actually played it, and are just re-gurgitating what your favorite POE2 Streamers are saying, because if you did , you would understand why it is so beloved.

Yes it has a lack of polish , but I have played many beta/early access games and its improving on it constantly, and the customization More than makes up for it.

Now this is not a one game is better than another post.

I like both games, but right now POE2 launched way too rough, and the decisions since than, keep going against my own desires.

Last epoch on the other hand keeps going in the direction I do wnat.

I really feel like LE Devs and I have similar concepts and play styles.

Wheras the Devs for POE2 are more interested in the competitive aspects of multiplayer , the Devs for LE are more interested in Single Player and/or PVE content.

I always go back to playing Last epoch , its just so satisfying to play that game due to the customization of builds. Also because it has a fully offline mode, it allows mods, which MAKES FOR SOME FUN TIMES.

Remember Diablo 2? Remember Median XL? Remember Path of Diablo?

That will never happen in Path of Exile 2.

Last epoch is my modern day diablo, with mods, I always have a reason to go back and try out new things.


I will return to POE2 some day, when druid gets released. (Or ,maybe Templar, or Duelist.) and hopefully starts to change direction on some of its competitive aspects. Some of those bosses are just gosh darn ridiculous.


I think we can all agree Diablo 4 sucks though.



EDIT: Okay so Druid will be released at the end of this month, so I will be coming back to see how the game has been progressing. I am excited to see what has changed, like I said, I stopped playing after the first month or so as I hated Warrior/Maces (too slow and heavy) and bosses were OP (like to the point of glitched attacks causing one shots no matter what etc.

I am excited to see how much has changed since, with huntress already released, I will be playing both Huntress and Druid in the upcoming league.


Wow, with Titan Quest 2 Early Access, and Last Epoch new season, I will have my plate full of ARPGs until Digimon Time Stranger comes out.

Titan Quest 2 isn't a particularly good game at all. I even refunded the game after about 2 hours of gameplay. 5/10 at best.

But i'm glad that you finally found a ARPG you like. They should have a forum you can join.


Me i'm looking forward for patch 0.3 now!
