Temporal Chains? Volatile Plants? Are you joking?
Absolutely no idea why GGG put option(Temporal Chains curse) on mapping.
Seriously this kind of annoying debuff causes ppl leave the game. and Volatile Plants is a joke for melee players. lol [Removed by Support] GGG made game itself pretty good but managing is horrible. congrats 90% elemental resists, 3k+ health. tons of leach for sustain.
pewpew wait wtf happened. oh volatile plants yay i did not see them in the pile of 50+ mobs. want to know another suffix that makes a map completely unplayable..... monsters have 25% resistance pen. might as well just ask enter those maps with one hp and play it like sek achievement. because if you get hit by anything its over. |

The only reason I dislike Temporal Chains is because it already takes to long to run through the map for the crap drops. So when I get that curse I just sell the thing to the npc so they can deal with it.

" Both of those are just annoying but not that difficult to deal with. Temporal Chains just makes the map slow. Which is not great but it is an easier negative to deal with than some. I prefer it over stuff like increased crit. The purple orbs, the secret for me is not to run away from them but to run through them. Don't roll, just run through them. They stop and explode but you are already past them. As soon as I see them I run toward them. It is annoying as I am constantly having to reposition. They are scary so I don't like them but I rarely die to them. I am annoyed by both of those but they rarely kill me. If I die to some random rare it is generally some lightning or crit stuff going on. Even with max lightning resist, I fear lightning. I also fear exploding corpses. As a melee there is generally a ton of corpses around the rare blowing up everywhere. The glow and explosion is pretty quick. As far as on death effects, those I use to have problems with but now my brain is so wired to immediately roll away when I kill a rare that I don't really die to them anymore. So my point is I would prefer to have annoying mods than kill me mods. I am not to the point on any melee this league where it is just about how fast I can do the map, with melee I am concerned about actually completing the map. |

For me the problem with temporal chains isnt the movement speed.
The biggest problem for me is that temp chains affect mana regen and probably other types of regen (life, ES). When a skill costs me around 50% mana to cast, temp chains make it feel real bad when i need to wait 10+ sec for mana regen. |

" The problem is that there is no way of countering it like in PoE1 with Pantheons or curse reduction jewels. The fact that it makes you run snail mode is the side effect of not having ways to counter it. Volatile plants are just boring and tedius, should just be removed already and put a I do not know, summon a circle of chaos over time damage. Never invite Vorana, Last To Fall at a beer party. I don't mind temp chains too much, until one of the rares has a slow bubble and my character gets to attack once every 5 seconds.
I also don't mind volatile plants too much, except when there's tons of enemies on the screen as well as obstructive terrain, it's super easy to unexpectedly get stuck for 0.5 seconds and just drop dead. |
