The Good & The Bad of POEII

The Good:

The character/class building system is the only reason I keep playing from time to time. Skill tree has lots of options and was done well. There are lot's of classes.

Story & music are good but I wish there were more, it's getting repetitive.

The Bad:

Item drop rates are horrible even when juicing towers up. I get better drops if I play with other people every time. You put extra effort into setting up towers and do not see much of a difference with increased quantity of items and rarity of items.

The crafting system is an unbalanced mess and cheapens the experience that makes a hack-and-slash ARPG. You have low garbage stat rolls on high tier items that ends up irritating people, straight up balance issues or BAD DEVELOPER TATSE/NEGLIGENCE. Developers that worked on these mechanics really dropped the ball and should consider doing something else in the company. The thing that really bothers me is the fact this game has potential and someone or a team of people could not deliver. This mechanic is the worst thing about the game. Oh yeah let's just roll some increased elemental damage on a weapon that only does physical or offer a low stat roll for no reason because of the random nature of the game.

DON'T HAVE LOW STAT ROLLS ON HIGHER TIER ITEMS. Are you trying to piss you audience off?

Line of Sight on ranged enemy attacks hitting Players offscreen. You guys at GGG need to listen to your audience and other Developers who comment on your works. When the original IP creator of Diablo 2 says you guys are "cheapening the experience" I think he means it and there is validity in his words.

The one-shots... It'd be nice if this game was skill based instead of having to constantly find and upgrade gear every other boss fight and the reason for that..

The damage calculator.. I'd like to have a boss fight at a very low level and survive do to skill but that will never happen because the damage calculator. There are static numbers then there are variables GGG should acknowledge and consider utilizing like potentially distributing boss damage based off of the maximum amount of the Player's health to prevent CHEAP ONE-SHOTS.

Don't get me wrong guys, I like POE2 and want to see it in a better state but let's be real. These guys are dropping the ball.
