Minimap does not zoom out enough

I would like it if the minimap was able to be zoomed out more so we could actually see the whole map on the minimap. Navigating with the minimap would be nice so I can actually see the game without the map overlay, but currently the full map shows such a bigger portion of the map that it's not viable to just use the minimap to navigate.
