" My bad, you are right! I actually forgot this part Ok, Ill back down I'm doing my best to defend this game and stand by my original claim: "the game still needs work, but it’s on the right path and built on a solid foundation ( good graphics, great sound, and a solid engine. ). What do people want now!? Game was just launched as an EARLY ACCESS product. And because of this, some of us kept our expectations low and realistic. That’s probably why I’m enjoying the game. it’s far from perfect, but still fine to play." |

" Sometimes we're wrong, hard to admit that so I'll send kudos for it when I can. That's a reasonable perspective to have as long a you can equally recognize that other people don't share it. The animations and art and sound style is very nice, though for me personally that is one of the lowest metrics of a good game. I consistently prefer pixel art games with good systems over AAA visual games with mediocre game play. I'm playing Noita currently, it's amazing. The systems I care about in an ARPG and especially live PoE for are the crafting and progression systems and the ability to come up with our follow crazy builds like auto-bombers. So from my perspective, while there's a solid game engine under the hood, PoE2 looks like it does not want to go on the direction I want to see. Maybe I'll be wrong on that, who can say. Until then I'll keep waiting for 3.26 and begrudgingly accept my free private friend leagues soon. |
