For The Devs Of PoE2: I Love your game But...
This is My experience and thoughts on the game having played solo and with friends keep in mind i wasnt a poe 1 player so i draw no comparisons this is simply my take on poe2 from a seperate and standalone perspective on what the game is and could be. I am a liberator of wraeclast supporter and have got others into the game and purchased packs for others spent a good amount of time on the game playing all characters with that being said i want to talk about some of the things i believe could be altered/fixed or things that could be implemented to help with the issues and mention priority issues that should be focused on. 1.Connection and Lag issues: So many times ive lost a map because i click on a lockbox or ritual and game hard lags next thing i know im dead or i load into an area and suddenly cant play the game, it has made me exit and skip playing that day numerous times and when it keeps happening it doesnt matter what you do with the game its going to be a bad experience and it will cause de-motivation and annoyance in my opinion that issue is number 1 on priority to fix... if you want a great game people gotta be able to play it smoothly 2.Multiplayer Party Scaling: ok so ive played solo,duo and trio party and let me just say MY LORD the scaling is way too high its so much easier to solo then party with people, yes theres more of you but i dont think it really matters with the scaling how it is right now the bosses seemed impossible in a full squad then i tried the fight after dropping party and beat them WAY easier it kind of promotes not playing with friends which is something you dont want. party play is important for the majority of players to have fun and of course get your game out there to more people and if they are met with near impossible gameplay then most players would call it quits. to fix this just lower the amount of HP bosses have/scale as that was the biggest noticable issue. 3.Difficulty of Bosses: Speaking of bosses i have casual friends and more tryhard friends that play this game and im an inbetween, yet both have said they see the bosses being too hard and the fights / mechanics overtuned from experience and their feedback on the fights it seems minion spawns where aggrovating at times during the boss fights, theres not enough time between the bosses attacks it makes it feel like they are permanantly attacking so you either dodge or die no room to attack, the hp is too high causing the fights to go too long till you eventually die or run out of flasks especially early on and other issues is to do with attacks not being clear enough to dodge or hitting outside of their visual range, visual clutter of effects can sometimes make things unseeable too. fix to this would be a visual update making sure anything that is in need of focus or dodging is clearly visable not just for bosses but rares and rogues too, make minions spawn at a slower rate could help those struggling with the constant spawns between their damaging periods as for mechanics and attacks maybe just slow down the time between attacks give a second or 2 for people to position or potion get more attacks in whatever the case and as for hp it could use a small tweak down not too much but enough that it shaves off a few average mins to clear 4.Difficulty of monsters: Now heres something thats complained about alot... and at time of writing this hp on monsters was just reduced and some quality of life fixes where made but in my opinion and others ive played with the hp on monsters was never an issue ive played all characters and off meta never had trouble blowing them up. My issue is with the movement speed into collision ALOT of times way too often i found myself instantly surrounded with no way to move and its just over unable to do anything about it the counterplay at that point is just non exsistent. Lowering the Movement speed of creatures to allow kiting on all classes (moving away while fighting) and lowering or removing collision to stop the getting stuck feeling will improve the feel of the game especially casuals, ranged classes can especially struggle when surrounded its very rarely escaped unless super built into specific things which may or may not work. Another fix that needs to happen is directed towards the lock on beam enemies that target you wayyy off screen and lock on aimbot style that needs a massive range nerf and maybe a delay to the follow lock on speed so its rollable / outrunnable. Auras ahh yes have you played vs a 300% movement speed teleporting mana drain enemy when you are playing a caster that needs mana? well let me tell you its impossible some auras are way too overtuned especially when mixed with other auras on certain enemies mana drain being one of them and probably the main one i think it needs abit of a tone down maybe with the speed of enemies being lowered having a lower aura range would be a good change so again it allows the kiting away staying out of range play for casters and ranged 5.Survivability: So the difficulty is no joke and one shots happen i definitely say oh im dead more then oh im dying i need to heal, and from what ive tested and seen it seems you cant really tank stuff unless its very certain builds that include a multitude of stacked defences you have to have passive skills and 75% ressistances across the board and high hp and energy shield maybe some evasion or damage to mana before hp and it gets too much having to theory craft just to survive, casuals will definitely not be going that hard just to get through standard campaign. There needs to be a decrease to the overall damage we take from bosses and floor effects and even some normal enemies that kill you out of nowhere make armour hp and shield mean more, ressistances and evasion would fall in place and be good stats if the others mentioned meant more so a rework and buff to players survivability will go a long way in enjoyment 6.Inventory Space: ... just give me backpack tabs or a upgradable backpack or just increase the size please I BEG 7.Content / Progression: Having only the campaign can be a drag to alot of players doing it over and over or if you struggle get stuck its a brick wall with nothing else of worth to progress with and i know early acsess but i believe theres a easyish fix to this. at the start of act 2 when you get the caravan i think there should be a easy mode maps where its more focused on a higher XP and Gold gain to allow players to step away from campaign farm up level and return to campaign when they want to it gives players a way to just throw on music and play or maybe level abit to pass content they are stuck on again increasing play time and overall enjoyability of the game then have the maps mode we have now as "endgame" to be a cruel version of it with the higher drop rates and gear focused maps that people can farm having both modes optional whenever avaliable. Survive the hordes mode where players survive waves of random enemies in arenas for rewards would be a fun side gamemode too just something id be intrested in maybe others will too 8.Currency / Trade / Loot: Trading is a big part of the game but alot of people wont open up the site or buy premium tabs to sell and buy not that they dont want to but its just the tedious nature of it that stops them from wanting to so a ingame auction house workaround would be something to look into. Currency farming currently is a nightmare we have run SO many maps with increased quality gears and tablets waystones everything and the drop rate is ridiculous over hundreds of hours we saw i think maybe 2 divines and a handful more of exalteds, it needs a increase not too much to where players are easily having hundreds but enough that a full day of playthrough specifically aimed towards currency farming is likely to see atleast 1 divine drop.lockboxes also need a buff and the enemies that get spirit touched also need buffs as its almost not worth risking any of them because never get a worth reward feel like i waste my time on them. Uniques also need more OOMPH to them as there are a few uniques that are sought after for a few meta builds but i find alot of times im throwing uniques to the collection or just disenchanting them because they are worthless, uniques need to hit harder when you see one should almost allways be a WOW NO WAY not a oh this meh bin sort of feeling. 9.Balancing Of Character: i need 150 int oh and 130 strength oh and 100 dex i can get that oh wait i cant on my passive skill trees i need more its ok il just get gear with it oh now i cant equip other gear now i cant use my spells guess il stack it more oh now i have no ressistances or crit or hp or shield or rarity maybe il try this there we go oh wait wheres my passives? oh i dont have enough spirit ..... yeah every player has gone through that at some point its excessive and annoying there needs to be less requirements or more stats that are applied to the character maybe make quests give a flat chunk of your main stat depending on what class you are playing or something but its REALLY annoying and can waste so much time and even mess up a character completely 10.Acsendancy / Trials: ascendency is too narrow of a build and i think needs more work and flexability within each one aswell as i really dont like the trials system pretty much at all with the honour and having to go through all the floors even completed ones its just an irritation more then a achievement Additions i Would Love: -TRANSMOG GEAR SLOTS omg if i could find a piece of gear i liked in the game and throw it in a transmog slot so i keep the look of it but stats of whatever i have equipt it would be so nice just that added feel of i like this character it doesnt take away from store purchasing because its just the found uniques and gear, the store can have non found cool looking stuff etc. -Wave Survival Arena as mentioned before a arena where you just stay and fight forever and get rewards from it simple easy fun -Auto Sort please let me just click a button and everything goes sorted into its perfect little spaces -Hideout Vendor with rotating hideout furniture you can buy with gold i love decorating the hideout but would love if there was alot more to add i know theres alot more things i want already coming as the game releases and theres a few other things that i might of missed or didnt feel was that big of an issue to mention but thats my general thoughts on the game so far, i love it and play it alot but i can definitely see it needs alot of work and the fixes have been decent and quick so im hoping it continues i cant wait for the new classes and weapons too. hopefully someone sees this and implements some changes :) Last bumped25 апр. 2025 г., 06:26:51

Good feedback. Pretty much agree with all of it.
Emphasising the part about currency. GGG pulled the ole bait n switch in my opinion. Opened up with much higher currency drop rates, and now... its fucking abysmal. Gating skill progression behind a never seen jewellers orb... my god. Some peoples ideas on how to "extend" player time, or... maybe theres a more devious reason at play... i mean, this entire trade setup these guys got going on is so (somewhere in the time frame'ish) 1998-2002 D2 jsp rmt rank smelling, its not funny. Very good feedback, I agree with like 90% of this, were still in 0.2 so I have faith GGG will turn it around, but yeah, there are a lot of issues with the servers, loot, and party play. Completely Agree, also lol at the bagspace, I've been saying that since day 1. Double that inventory space GGG, and PLEASE add a auto sort function like he said in stash tabs and inventory. After playing LE it was a very nice QoL that i think PoE could easily implement and would save the user a lot of time organizing tabs.
