I don't really play much anymore

I mainly just read the forums once a day waiting for an announcement that they'll do something about crafting. And there's a million ways to solve the problem.

Log in play a few maps, can't do anything with the gear I pick up because you need orbs to do that, and orbs don't drop.

I could literally take all the orbs I've gathered in the game up till now (lvl 81) and waste (I mean craft) up to 14 items.

So what, done in about 20 mins?
With a 99% chance that they're all junk?

Like, do the GGG employees even play this game?

It makes a lot more sense when you figure that what they are trying to do is identify and filter down to the most degenerate gambling addicts who will open up their wallets to play a game where there's a 1% chance of success.

If it was that simple, then none of us would be in these forums
Same here i hardly play anymore for way more reasons then just crafting. The devs went under the radar, we haven't seen them communicating anymore. Can't blame them for not wanting to show themselves after the disaster they created with 0.2. Bring back 0.1, increase loot by like 200% , implement a creative and rewarding crafting system, eliminate the negative effects in Uniques and support skills, fix the huge amount of bugs, reduce spirit cost of spectres to at least 50 %, and the list goes on and on, can't bother with this vision anymore. So sick of it.

I'm more impressed you made it that far honestly. I quit the game at lvl71, lol. Trials being a giant mess and waste of time generally, no currency, no crafting, glass cannon in maps, yea no thanks.

& no they don't play their own game. They pretend they do to the public, b/c it reinforces hope & belief that the devs/GGG know what they're doing since they are *supposedly* playing their game.

Its all bullshit, though.

This. The game has so much broken design elements and player-unfriendly systems, that it only makes sense that the currency slot machine and cope are keeping people playing. That is, other than those that have little time to play and so still get to enjoy the honeymoon period for quite a while.

In every recent interview, crafting issues have been raised and Jonathan looks baffled about why ppl are complaining about crafting. He thinks we want fully deterministic crafting so we can craft perfect items.

They must only play test the campaign over and over again. There is no way they are play testing end game.

They could increase the drops rates of exalts by a factor of 10 and crafting would still be a struggle in early end game.

You're not missing anything. Tried playing for a few hours tonight with the classes I haven't used. Felt bad. Slow and clunky. Campaign is a drag. Uninstalled. Wish I could get my $30 back.

Game is what it is. Don't expect any significant changes to what's already implemented.

You know what? In 0.1, this comment would be easily countered with "It's just the poor balance atm and missing crafting methods", but then they introduced the "recombinator" in 0.2, so...
