Crest of Ardura + blink on weapon slop is MUST HAVE for 4th ascendency

I feel like weapon swapping to Crest of Ardura is 100% the only possibly way for just any build to have a shot at the last ascendency boss. Don't get me wrong, it's one of the most broken shields in the game for weapon swaps, however, It feels too necessary. Just swap and have blink, swap back for damage. It's almost so broken it's upsetting. I can't figure out any other way to really cheese that final boss mechanic for cheap. Any one else have other strats maybe?

If we're talking about solo runs, 25 speed boots is enough from personal experience. I'm quite sure they made the clock even slower in 0.2 since i was running it 2-3 daily in 0.1. You just have to calmly asses the sand-clock spawns and plan your route accordingly instead of immediately rushing to the first one you see.

Well, that explains a lot because it's so much easier than it was on ER last year that I didn't realize it was because patches. I now want them to roll it back tbh at this point.

Also, would be a pain to fail for that phase and must run trial all again for another try

If you're talking about the final sekhemas boss then you're doing something very, very wrong.

I've finished that fight, without issue, with the -30% move speed affliction several times.

It's just a matter of practice then.

Honestly just need a spear, Can knock him down 40% in a few seconds with Storm Lance, slow down so he ports middle and starts spinning the lightning. Then you just stand in corner where you dont take damage and throw lances till he dies.

Did it from level 78 even with Dark Alliance relics and now its fine tuned he dies before he even finishes his opening enterance.

But if playing anything else go ranged. Put a spear as your off weapon and take thunderous leap to move around during time stops as it can leap screens, requires no spirit, and can be gemmed to leave shocking field which increases damaage taken.

Likewise if you are struggling on the last boss only, slot in a few 20-30% boss damage taken relics. He goes down insanely fast. I run pure movement speed / key drop rate / relic drop rate with 70% defenses and against the darkness relic now and it seems like most the community isnt bothering because i can make 75-150d in a day running and sellking jewels / spectrums / gear drops (drops Ilvl82+ if running ILVL 84 djinns) and with fracturing, recombinating, and cheaper omens, it's 10x easier to make money than last league. The meta sucks, i get that, but it works lol

They specifically said they fixed this. Is that not the case? For some reason i took their word for it and didn't try hiding.
