Would be so hurtful if RECOMBINE generate magic items?
2 mods items are usually a magic item
Would be much better and less random to craft... You would already have passed 15-20% chance of success, risk some good bases, payed expedition currency to try it... Having the chance to also slam a greater essence to try to improve your hit would be so good... AND we would still have a huge amount of random mods with the exalt slam afterwards... So why not? don't forget 3/4 of the corrupted essences they just added would become compatible with it too!

That would make it a reliable crafting mechanic. I don't think the devs want reliable crafting mechanics. At least not in the initial release. Maybe they'll throw that stuff in release leagues, but they don't want to make anything that's super useful right away.
It would actually be goo if it kept the rarity of w/e the base items were, but then it could be combined with greater essences and regal. That's too reliable. |
