Just got Tame Beast...
Got Tame Beast at level 31, tamed a beast and I can't use it because it costs 45.3 Spirit. This shouldn't be possible. It's just deeply unfriendly design. Fit the tamed beasts into Spirit costs appropriate for the level. Make sure it sticks to even, round numbers, not awkward decimals. I would have thought this was obvious. Don't make me have to do some weird puzzle just so I can plan to be able to use my new ability somewhere down the line. No spear character is going to have 50 spare spirit just sitting around at level 31. Asking me to give up my aura is bad enough but that isn't even an option because of the weird cost. I'm not going to go tame a bunch of other beasts until I get a cheaper one, that isn't a reasonable thing to expect the player to do. Figure it out guys, this is broken. Seems pretty obvious that it should be something you unlock after killing the King of the Mists, not at the end of Act 2.

I play a summoner, and when i wanted to try and get a beast into my comp that also wasent super slow. I found Rhoas in the hunting grounds in act 1 ( i think its hunting grounds ), the area where you fight the monster with the big bell.
Would run into rare once often there, hope it helps! They where alot cheaper on spirit atleast then most beats i found with some sort of speed. Cant have to much Junk in your Stash

Tame Beast cost % of your maximum spirit. So dropping your aura would be an option. So pls tell me you didnt just see 45.3 and disregard the % behind it and startet crying that you cannot even use it when you drop your aura without even testing it.
You can also get yourself +spirit on gear. And that you are a "spear character" does not stop you from getting an armor or amulet with extra spirit. At lvl 31 any beast you find is most likely a useless meatshield anyways because the good mods are on endgame monsters. So your options are either keep running your aura running the beast or quit an run neither. |
