They added a lot, changed some but your character is there with a free passive tree refund to tweak it for the changes.
Honestly I don’t see why I would personally bother with my 0.1.0 character or the ‘league’ as I find the 0.2.0 more engaging but so far (in my case due to no challenges and being a challenges driven player) not playing anywhere near as many hours in poe2 as I would in poe1.
That will change as new point releases add more acts, classes, weapon bases and skills. And, eventually, we can hope (or I do lol) challenges.
