Defenses Required for Combo Gameplay
For 2 leagues now, the top builds have been 1 button builds that clear the screen with a potential addition of a 1 button skill that 1 shots bosses.
Combo gameplay does not feel good, especially at higher levels. One big contributing factor to this is the lack of layered defenses. Players don't have enough time to effectively build the combos up before they are run down by mobs of enemies. The lack of combo gameplay is made worse by the access to 1 button builds that are significantly stronger for considerably less effort. These skills will eventually be nerfed, but there needs to be a solid foundation of other options before doing so, otherwise players may still not be incentivized to play combo builds. If the devs want combo gameplay to be more approachable, they need to focus on improving access to defenses in order to give players the time they need to pull the combos off. GGG needs to be much more active in tuning the game's skills/passives/stats.
None of this 'wait til next reset' hogwash. |

What makes combo unplayable are the stuns imo
As long as the game still have stuns/mini stuns, combos will just feel bad |
