Something about the game feels off
.1 I was spoiled with Stat stacking, moving across the map at the speed of light, clearing everything, dying rarely, and collecting my loot.
.2 feels like an absolute slog. Pace is slow, Uniques are just bleh (some I even question why they even bothered putting them into the game), more times than I like, I am searching for a boss that is off-screen on gargantuan maps, run into lootboxes that have those underground creatures that hide while the box is still spamming chaos orbs, lighting strikes etc (annoying af, and just a plain ole waste of time, NOT FUN). Maps have too many obstacles, too many corridors with doors, and AI is as dumb as a brick. They designed maps to be oh so different and unique, but with the way skills work, it is just dumb and frustrating. Everything feels like a step back from PoE, you level up a character, and if you find an interesting skill, well 25/75 that skill will suck balls at lower levels. Honestly, at this point, I wish they had iterated on PoE, upgraded the engine, and kept the same core mechanics. This game is slow and honestly boring. This post does not make me happy. As you can see, I have HEAVILY INVESTED in this game and would continue to do so, but PoE2 needs an overall rework. Making a game where the characters have to kite, dodge more, and do less damage doesn't make it more difficult; it makes it more tedious. I play an ARPG to bulldoze content without having to push a bajillion buttons to do so. This game feels less like fun, more like a chore I have to do.
