Boots and Movementspeed

If there is no Movementspeed on Boots, they can have perfect stats and i couldnt wear them.

Please fix that somehow.
Why is that? Because Movementspeed translates directly into not dying because of not getting hit. Its the strongest defence in this game.

Multiple avenues:

- Add a lot of Movespeed to the passive Tree or other available sources.
- Remove "hidden" Movementspeed Armor Penalties.
- Turn Movementspeed into an implicit every boot has, no Movespeed as Prefix anymore.


It is quite sad that the quality of an item is 100% dependend on the Roll of one of six affixes.

Guess no one’s told you that people use a lot of unique boots 😭

I agree though that movement speed is very crucial on boots for serious players. I think the fix is a middle ground where all boots roll with inherent movement speed but also nerf the highest roll of movement speed available.

25% and 5-10% as implicit is probably fair.

Or 5-15% and 25%. Whatever they wanna do. But honestly bro people look at it all wrong.

Rn you are suppose to try to grind a great pair of 35% movement speed boots for mapping and long distance runs lol and you are suppose to grind a 6 god roll no movement speed pair of boots for bossing and small area fights. Movement speed is good defensively but sometimes you don’t really need it.

I agree with OP. My character and build I have been working on is an infernalist witch. The ranged playstyle favors movement speed. All energy shield and max movement on boots is required for me because the mixture of speed and wasd precision make it the best defense in the game (imo with my playstyle).
I find that especially for bosses (At least some of them) Movementspeed is absolutely required to not get hit by stuff.

If you are too slow you cant escape, thus making Movementspeed absolutely required.
