Corrupted Unique Strongboxes...

If it's supposed to be a GOOD thing to get that unique strongbox that drops us a unique item - make it worth something.

The strongbox that drops them corrupted - okay, fine. But then they're junk. You can't put quality or sockets on them so they're essentially a chance shard.

I also got one that said it dropped a corrupted unique with "an extra socket" - it dropped a corrupted body armor with ONE socket. The extra wasn't extra, it was a one socket, no quality, corrupted - chance shard.

I'm just saying that if these are supposed to be rewarding - they're not. I'd rather it drop me a whole orb of chance. That's more valuable than anything dropping corrupted with zero quality or sockets.

And on the off chance anyone who cares is actually reading these - I also think that the bonus for killing a rogue exile should be that the loot drops as identified. :)

Corrupted gears are supposed to drop with full sockets and quality. Glad they finally replaced trial of chaos trash gears with more currencies. Rogue exiles drop trash items too, totally not worth the atlas point

This is, most likely , a bug.

It has happened in every unique strongbox that has dropped a unique corrupted item. It drops without quality or sockets. My group calls them the chance shard strongboxes now.
