They are dead-set on forcing players to open a browser to find items/trade, like most things these days, just to irritate the player, no benefit at all.

You CAN view/buy the microtransactions in-game tho... so there is that.

The problem with that mentality that its ok for 3rd party to do and also telling the community the game was built with consoles in mind does not really mesh well. Console will never get that edge, so you either design it or stop allowing the macros and bots and ai ruining the game. Almost feels like the linked economy was a mistake at this point.
