CROSSBOW play style and 7 points that Devs need to focus on them!
" Its rediculus i know. Most of these problems is in Devs indifference abd there is no excuse. They have plenty time to fix all the current bugs but instead of this they are bringing new classes in game that would bring more bugs and unbalanced content. Another problem i noticed so far is that Momentum gem works similar as Reload time.
It can't be triggered by Dodge rolling. Devs need change the Dodge mechanism and make it as actual time and not cancelling everything during animation time. Momentum gem triggers when moving 2 meters. Moving 2 meters means, flying, dodging, pacing, transferring and what ever makes 2 meter distance from the point you started. " Don't be upset dude, time has come for serious fixes and updates. No new content will bring people back if the game is unplayable. And the situation of balance between classes and weapons should be in a priority again. In fact I've never have seen equal statistics of classes. Some skills work well with dodge like caltrop. So it's not cancelling the action effect during dodge rolling and i'm confused how this happening to specific skills or is my sense that really Devs don't care about Crossbow players and punishing them with no reloading during dodge. It's sadly not right if the behave so. |

" I've noticed that too with Caltrop skill. It's the only one that works absolutely fine when dodging. It's not difficult to make reloading work similar. Even if in dodging, the animation covers reloading animation during action, doesn't mean that reloading can't be functional behind this cover. Exactly the same use can happen to Momentum gem Dodging while behind the cover runs the hypothetically pacing action for enabling the gem. So simple so smart. It's all about Dev's will's. |

" Indeed you have a point on that. I didn't used Caltrop skill to know that is the only one that works fine with Dodge rolling. Devs need to take it as an example and make also the other skills work fine with cooperation between them. |

" No it's not a garbage of course. Its better from Legionnaire but i want to see for once a big difference with skills in Crossbow style. It's the worst style right now and investments are tons if i compare it with other weapon styles. |

" No one said that Crossbows don't do respectful damage. The point is we compare the diference between Crossbow and other weapons and the scale turns more to others as are faster, more accurate, more dps and generally invest in way less thinks than Crossbows. The whole fact isn't nerfing others but to buff crossbow in a way it needs. We don't bring just theories from our minds. Statistic results show everything you need know about how players respect classes and weapons. And in every new statistics the same classes and weapons prevail. Random results??? No of course its not random results. Those results didn't change a lot if i exclude Spear weapon that added later and brought significant difference. Now the point is WHAT DEVS COULD DO to change the balance in next patched. Becouse one more failure and people will quitting like butterflies. Community spend a lot of effort to make Devs understand WHY someone is frustrated with this type of weapon, why its not lovely, why can't afford so many investments and what points should be focused on. Devs it's up to you now..... |

Indeed half of skills in Crossbow style should change couse noone wants to play with damage and prefers DPS style.
Statistics shows cleary the apostrophe to this type of weapon.Especialy if Devs dont bring solutions to the above mentinoned problems that slows gameplay and make it less survival. |

" These problems are the main fact that people avoid to use Crossbow. But i think number one is Reload time and number two is dodge rolling that prevents anything else of the skill. If they manage to solve this 2 problems then i think 80% of problems are solved. Imagine to reach in patch 0.5.0 and still statistics show the exact results. Will be a massive failure to what Devs planning as solution. |
