Matalan Waterways what the...?

I thought this area was made easier or shorter or something? It was an absolute nightmare for me. So very long and mazey. I died THREE times to these casters putting fire circle spell things down from way off screen. You have so little time to react and the thing goes off and pretty much kills you unless you have full health.
Which is pretty much impossible with all of the cutty-cutty-stabby-stabby drugged up speedsters trying to slice your face off. I honestly want to love this game (and there is a lot a I do love) but it really so often is just no fun at all to play. I stopped playing after "that patch" and came back because of the small attempt to fix it with loot drop improvements and now I just want to give up again. Last bumped9 мая 2025 г., 15:13:44

if you dying so easly maybe invest smh in resistances and survivability and not only dmg monki. It's good map.

waterways is trash. i hate making those walks just to turn some levers.
its more fun to just kill stuff. whats waterways about? ur just going from A to B to do something. so let me go from A to B, i dont wanna press levers. i wanna kill. give me 5x more monsters and less walking time = happy. `Spent 2 mirrors on my build, but I'm only Level 98.` LOL

It only gets worse. Last several maps of act 3 are huge and though they fixed some of it, they are still a bit much unless you can clear the screen in one shot... you know...

It's the worst map in the campaign. Just repetitive, uninspired and way too long.

Waterways sucks, early in the patch i always use party finder to just leech the final lever.
I have similar "ugh" reactions to jiquani, azak bog, black temple. Jiquani is so anti-skippable via party finder it's almost like forced punishment by the developer. Black temple is so irritating I just dodge roll my way to doryani. Dunno why but act 1 zones are just FUN, and most of act 2 too. |

i feel the campaign design as a whole is meant to deter bots. possibly a bit overdone also.
the thing is, say the campaign is actually even worse than it is now, its still forgivable and worth the trouble so long as the endgame delivers plenty of fun and things to do and options. but endgame is total misery in every sense. there's not a single thing in endgame that's done correct. i need to be hired to fix endgame. its the only solution. none of y'alls and them's can fix it. only i can. `Spent 2 mirrors on my build, but I'm only Level 98.` LOL

You died 3 times with the same mistake in the campaign and instead of working on yourself and adapting to the new situation you come to the forum and beg the developers to make the game easier for you?
That is absolutely ridiculous! |

I really enjoyed that map and I brezze that content. Not sure if I'm already used to poe or just know my build and what works or not...
But you should always learn and improve your gameplay... |
