Currency drops are garbage again. Almost HC specific

As much as I hate these posts I feel like I have to.

I have seriously noticed a decline in the loot again to an extreme degree.

Yesterday I logged on to the sc character I made at start of league and it was ok, got 3 or 4 exalts on each map and even got a div drop which was great and also confusing as I dont experience this on my hc character much.

Today is a terrible day, had a unique strongbox with an extra unique item as a mod, well it dropped 1 unique and literally nothing else, not even gold. Imagine if it did not have that mod, jesus. Finishes the boss on that map and got some gold. Got 1 exalted orb from 3 maps.

The loot is terrible and im genuinly demoralised to play. I literally dropped my controller after the strongbox loot and didnt care if my lvl 90 on HC died, pushed through got to a boss that took me a while and got gold.

There is a serious problem.

IMO, its just a general problem with the game's design that isnt ever going to go away.

'Crafting' items (which everyone wants to use lots of), is 'Currency' items... and with drop rates set the way they are meaning Currency takes priority over Crafting. For most, that means too fucking bad.,

It's just a shame really, cause i bet we would all have a shit tonne of fun if we had a shit tonne of currency to actually dispose of on items. And lets get real, thats about how much you need to 'maybe' roll something decent. But, that aint gonna happen.

Sadly, that fun would soon ebb away on the non-stop tide of crafts with potential that ended up being vendor garbage. It gets frustrating.
As far as i can recall my POE days, really good crafts were always super rare, but at least there were some more deterministic options available too.
Not so much now :s

Sadly, this holds truth too.

In POE1's early days, there was no 'crafting' either. But... POE1 had Orbs of Alteration, which were a god-send in that you could always drum up a little something more from a good base, than a throw away.

Not much more, but more. Admittedly, you did have to farm a fair few to get rollin, but it sure as hell beat this bullshit.

Now, POE1 has damn near all the right stuff in all the right places. Almost. This game... Not so much.

I was coming around... the post they made had me eager to come back. Was feeling very spiteful towards GGG. Took POE2 off rhe HD for about 3 weeks.

First night Inoticed a huge difference (think this was day one after patch) multiple occurences of 2 to 3 ex in chests. I was only in T2 at that time.

Now in T12 and I feel something is fishy with currency drops above alc level.

Did FINALLY GET first Div last night since changes. But would have thought it would have happened long before that.

Exalts feel like they are going out of their way to offer them up about every 3rd map Ill get a couple its real weird.

Usually juicing maps you invest some exalt and the payback was there before. Now it just dont seem like it.

Augs/Trans all over lots of blue and rare drops... very low exalt and beyond 1000% worse on divs in .1 even post "GGG we love you Golden Loot" post.

Still seems the gold pile rules the loot table and still way too many rares dropping 0 loot

You know how we got used to paying higher gas prices....thinkin this is similar training. Chaos Orbs are the new dopimine hit.

Im not too worried about it because I believe they are laying the framework for new ecomomy in future seasons.

Bro, something is very wrong with the game.

All the topics regarding the fact, that people constantly feel like the drop rates are stealth nerfed and other stuff like that, just proves the point that people generally are too stressed playing the game. That's it.

Even if this is not the case and you just got wrecked by rng, the fact that you feel yourself deceived just means nothing good for the game.

Man I never ever even considered to post on the forum. Yet right now instead of playing I rather go here to read what people say xdd

It took GGG 3 weeks and a holiday vacation to buff loot and 2 days to stealth nerf it :3 Just saying

And dont forget, a patch... that clearly wasnt needed when they can do this live.

Ive been more gloom and doom than positive lately so Im going to put a positive spin on this.

Pretend there wasnt a blown up market and player ecomomy and the drops we are seeing right now would be how it is for all in a fresh season.

At that point I wouldnt care so much since everyone equally in game poor LOL if that makes sense.

If Chaos Orb is the new drop that feels good in a fresh season and carries weight Im fine with that.

But right now in this market I need some damn Divs GGG lol!
