Such a shame, I really had high expectations for this game.
It's really strange, or nobody notices. As they slowly add hundreds of on-death spells, with every patch there are more... Is that meaningful combat, to run from on-death missiles? It's totally absurd and sad that this is the only way to make a game more difficult . I wouldn't be surprised if they reintroduce Archnemesis again. One thing that I have found with Huntress/spear and Ranger/bow (and every other build/class that I have tried) is, despite all of these "new" skills, the best attack is often the DEFAULT weapon skill with a couple of supports. No mana costs. That default spear throw, or default bow attack often does more damage, and is more effective.
As for Parry - nope. Tried it, wondered if it even did anything. Raise shield is marginally better, but... Combos.....ugh. My combos are with 2 or 3 other things than Parry or the Raise Shield etc. Edit: This is for the campaign particularly. 😹😹😹😹😹 I do not and will not use TFT. " For me, boss fights (that are I subjectively find well made) that are 10+minues is super fun. It's a matter of taste. I would hope that the game opens up a mode for players like me... Can I do the things I like without purposefully gimping my self and my character growth? This game really has excellent boss fights and hitboxes...It's so well polished! On my poe2 wishlist is a game mode that's exactly like "Survival Mode" from Remnant of the Ashes. Starting from nothing we go through 1 small linear map, with mega loot drops, creating our build with what we get. After each map is followed by a boss (every 3 bosses leads to the act boss)... There is a timer and everything grows harder as time passes.... And it keeps going without stop.... We can also choose a difficulty for this mode from the get go. In my dreams, this is the Act 6 optional trial that players can do. |

" I tend to pause in the middle and/or alt-f4 the game from boredom after about 5 minutes. Doing the same thing over and over and over because you do no damage is so damn boring. If that's the way you enjoy it. It's up to you if you want to play that way. The game mode I am suggesting is not forced; players can choose that gameplay if they want it (and can choose the most punishing difficulty). In my point of view, I am dealing mega damage.
