Monster Speed (Different I promise)
Historically monster speed has come up a lot in various designer Q&As, and Jonathan typically zeroes in on the player being able to outrun monsters or not, which I get, but in doing so I think he's maybe missing a second problem, which is: the faster monsters move, the worse characters with low attack/cast and especially projectile speed feel to play.
In some cases these are solvable, eventually, with supports/tree/gear/whatever, and the question is only whether it happens fast enough. In other cases the only reasonable solution is "play something different instead that doesn't feel bad." Last bumped9 мая 2025 г., 14:18:40
