Even if PoE2 stays at 20,000 players forever, it will be profitable. There's some kind of gamer death cult, where any game that disappoints me must die. It's too woke, it isn't woke enough, it wasted my time, it's too easy -- whatever the reason, it's going to die and shut down at any moment.
If I'm describing you, please ask yourself why you're attracted to that kind of thinking. It isn't connected to reality: PoE2, even at its lowest point, is still profitable. Why do you like your death cult fantasy more than business reality? |

The second a new league drops you'll get the same 200k players you always do if not more depending on the size of the update. " Maybe you missed it but the game is not even released yet....it's still in Beta. With your Early Access purchase you've just payd an entrance fee to participate the Beta-Test...nothing more, nothing less. If you want a finished game wait till 1.0 release but until than it's a Beta test where everything you have to do is to test the gama and report things that are off. Half of the basic content is not even in there and so prety much every balance off (skills, movement, moster attack patterns, etc....)....I mean 40% of the mobs don't even have own attack patterns and all have the same attack "placeholder" (they all run towards you and try to auto attack with a basic hit.). ^^ Start to be a constructive part of the community instead of badmouthing the game only becasue it's in Beta. ;) Последняя редакция: CroDanZ#1818. " There are fundamental differences between Alpha / Beta and early access. This isn't preference, it is industry standard. They sold us on Early access, not a beta, because no one would pay to play 1/3 of a game in Beta...this implies the majority/base of the game is in a playable state, with a few bugs, of which to build upon. All they have is 3 acts, and the gem system, that is it. By their own admission, the 'endgame' was thrown in at the last minute so that there was something there. More than half of the base game hasn't been made yet... In 6 months we have seen no tangible progress, other than adding the Huntress and a few gems. If anything every patch made things worse/more buggy. Tho they managed to prioritize the MTX shop, new stash tabs & loot boxes, etc. They lied to us, plain and simple. They then did an interview after that saying it would take at least a year for everything to be put in. Like please stop with these nonsense arguments, it's beyond the pale how silly you sound. I say silly because saying anything harsher than that gets immediately removed. Like they charged $30 for something that has more content and polish than 95% of other triple A games while proceeding to give you free content updates for life after that. Please stop this weird fascination with wanting to be a victim...over a video game no less. |
