General discussion gaming forums are almost always a cesspit of ignorance and trolls.
volatile dead hasnt been buffed. A skill that had sub promile playrate in 10-month old league, because it doesn't scale for shit.. That wasn't buffed at all.

At this point just remove the skill from game. Eh

Focused Channeling feels like it would be infinitely better if it was 20% More Damage every 0.5 seconds of channeling a spell up to a maximum of 60%. Far more skills could utilize it better at that point and the ones they intended to use it with could still do so.

While I think the increased cast speed quality is nice, the increased mana cost seems not too bad to overcome for many channeling skills, but they could make it the same scaling as the damage if they really wanted to to fit more skills.

All in all the gem does not work with enough channeling skills to justify it imo and the 24% with max 60% seems awkward. 20% every 0.5 second would make it much more smooth to use and provide more sue cases. This shows that the idea has potential, but the levers are not correct currently.


As for Wave of Conviction, the nova tag makes it a single target skill potentially, but the lack of waves and interaction with the base duration make it worse than alternatives as the clear skill they want it to be. It is another great concept that requires one adjustment to meet the expectations, imo. Removing the wave limit would make it too strong with Spell Echo, but they could have the wave speed be affected by cast speed to make it more interesting and usable, for example.
