They dont care about player retentionn or how many people are playing.
They want money and do as less as possible to get it.
PoE1 is the better game, but they cant and would never admit it. When they introduced Ruthless you could see what direction PoE2 would get into.
And there was 4 Ruthless player in total. But because Jonathan loves it, thats what PoE2 is now.
A version of ruthless.
So PoE1 will get down in the long therm because they dotn care about it.

Server stability in EU has been a lot better today. Either because of luck or something actually changed. No crashes yet, just a few minor lagspikes. Maybe the leagues should no longer start right before the weekend so that there's people in the office to fix critical stuff during the week.
