I tried PoE 1 and now i understand the "vision" better....

" From a development standpoint, I feel they're kind of benefitting from keeping LS in the game as is for a bit. The op-ness of the skill attracts even more players to the new character and new weapon-type which gives them a lot more data to pull from when they want to make adjustments to things because it really concentrates our "beta-testing" on their new items to work out bugs. Adding a novel weapon base-type to the poe universe is a huge deal. I think we should also expect a similar situation with flails when the time comes. I have faith in GGG to come through with the balance, they have a pretty good track record of putting outliers back in-line. |

So, we should expect the same with swords, daggers, mines, traps, etc!??? Whatever, man...

LS is great as a 1 button build. Combos are boring. The lvling was a pain with all the combos and only the one button promised land has kept me lvling the zon.

" Mate, have you played PoE 1? It's an entire game filled to the brim with all kinds of builds that only require one button to use. It's perfect for you if this is your perspective. There's a new league that came out just recently, now's a great time to play it. |

" I'd love to say no, but honestly the answer is at least a maybe. It's not because they're doing it on purpose though, it's because there are so many variables in any arpg, let alone this one with all the combinations of skills and support gems that are possible, that I don't think it's possible for them to foresee every problem ahead of time, no matter how good their QA team is at testing things. As long as they're willing to play whack-a-mole with the OP skills I'm willing to cut them some slack on this though. |

Meaningful combat.
With meaningful reward i hope? Coz GGG throw to us a dozens maps with dozens monsters, atlas is full of "+0.0384 mobs packs", tablets with "+50% magick monsters", map suffices mean same "+ MROE MABZ!!11". So they intentionally tell you -You need a fastest map clear, no matter what, kill as fast as u can and as many as u can, to get some reward". What meaningful combat is this? And here is yours meaningful one-shot from white mob, btw. Maybe meaningful craft for meaningful combat? Let me craft my own incredible unique, with funky capabilities to fight boss? Nah. Here yours random casino craft. By the way, u need a million shitty same items, and billions of currency to craft "meaningful item". Hey, ask them, why all meaningful ( and most expencive) affixes is damage? Not tactical, not defence (wich not working anyway), but most "fast kill" affixes? T15+jucied map boss dropping 2 shitty rare and unique "no-1-needed" is meaningful? They asking us kill fast as possible, but cut our wings on the fly - constantly bricked most effective builds. Did i want clear one map by 1.5h with "meaningful combat" and get 2 ex in reward? Hmm.. Последняя редакция: DarkT#9617. Время: 18 июн. 2025 г., 20:47:51

To me the worst possible outcome would be if GGG turned poe 2 more and more like poe 1, and i can totally see they doing that bcs it's easier to just copy than create something new
The pacing in act 1 and 2 is great, in act 3 and beyond is where it's starting to go downhill for me, maps start becoming too big and there's way too many enemies If people want to blast screens filled with generic enemies that's okay, we have poe 1 for that, but let poe 2 be its own game |
