Every char can be a build showcase, until getting oneshot by something you never able to find out.

I mean no, not every build can and 99% cant. Most "builds" people try to come up with suck and aren't any good. Dying is irrelevant as the game is based around SC and not HC, so that has nothing to do with a build showcase. Try to appreciate and give credit to people. They did a good job and if you keep working I'm sure you can come up with something. Good Luck!

You can clear all Pinnacle content on under 1 divine right now, so why wouldn't they be able to? I'm sure they have no issues at all.

PoE1 is 10+ yo game with tons of mechanics and skills, PoE2 isn't even released and missing like half of classes and skills.

While there's plenty of interesting builds in PoE2 still.

PoE1 is 10+ yo game with tons of mechanics and skills, PoE2 isn't even released and missing like half of classes and skills.

POE2 wasn't created from zero, POE2 include all this 10+ yo skills features and developers experience from POE1.
In POE1 every Ascendancy playable and unique while some of them needs to be reworked completely, but players actually could create funny and interesting builds around them.

Existing POE2 Ascendancies even not half as good, some of them just useless and unplayable or week. Some Ascendancies provide like
  • extra +quality
  • something extra useless
  • one skill gem like Culling strike for Mercenary
  • or make character even weaker like 35% less armor and evasion but giving sorcery ward.
  • while Ascendancies in POE1 provide an ability to build a whole setup around.


No one cares if game will have 20 classes and 50 Ascendancies, if 90% of them is trashy - they trashy, no excuses. The game is in EA, but it could be a good game in EA

It wasn't created from zero, but many skills in PoE2 are created from zero, with few being more or less same skills from PoE1.

And again, game is far from release, they not going to waste resources to add TONS of different mechanics all at once before release, it's literally just waste.

And again, game is far from release, they not going to spend time balancing every ascendancy every EA patch or every Skill, because it all will be changed multiple times during EA.
