New update and continued console game crashing!?!??!??
UPDATE: I play on a PS5 and realized I had the PS4 version downloaded. I decided to try downloading the PS5 version and it seems to be working fine for me now… so far anyway. Sound seems to be working fine with no issues. I haven’t had much time to test it out, but I was able to get through an entire map with no crashes.
I’ll update again later tonight when I have a chance to play some more. |

Thanks for the support GGG for all console players!!!! No update, game unplayable. 2 days no resolution during an event. What a great solve to fix 1 sound bug but cause a widespread block on your game. Makes me think again why I support on my consoles when 90% of your direction is PC players

A temporary fix: i have turned the in game master volume all the way down and game runs fine.

I just deleted POE1. No sense in keeping the game when there's no support when issues are known. Will see what direction is for poe2 but likely same setup

Why download PS4 client on PS5? it's the same issue. I've been using PS4 client on my PS5 for 1 year.
If u want PS4 version, hit the start button before downloading game and choose the option for PS4 version |

" Day three of your game being comepletely unplayable on ps4 and for MANY players on PS5. YES we have all tried your suggestion (A suggestion that initially came from the playerbase like most of the workarounds for the incessant bugs) (These solutions are never compiled in a thread to help players who aren't as connected into the social scene or global chat community) Resulting in a disorganised approach and many more bug reports and inquiries than probably needed further compouding the workload and making the system as a whole even more inefficient. And yes we have made many posts here as well as ingame bug reports. Half of the time we cant even report the current bug because the game just locks up and dosent bluescreen bringing up the PS bug report interface so tons of these incedents arent being reported. I can tell you that I personally feel your company is doing a horrible job working with the community to help address this issue. Theres maybe 2 or 3 posts here from support and then silence. Several of us have raised our concerns here as well as with customer support and have been stonewalled. |

I'm on ps5 and was using the the ps4 client up until the issue came up with the latest console patch. I switched to the ps5 client and have had no issues for the past couple of hours and load times were significantly better. Good luck everyone on console!

Give me 3 extra days to try and beat HCSSF Gauntlet to try and get whatever microstraction, or give an option on how to get it. I'm not asking for EVERY console player but c'mon. Throw a dog a bone. I'm still on here typing away, not being a 24/7 player like whatever streamers are out there that live & breath this game. Kudos to Ben, Ziz, Ghazzy, Jung, Steel, et al, but those that live off consoles and have 1-3 hr/day playtime, as life takes over the rest 21hrs. Bam!

No error message Whether you are crashing to the console dashboard or disconnecting back to the login screen Neither. Just freezes with looping audio If you can reproduce 100% of the time a video clip would be handy. PITA to do this from console Whether you are using a cabled connection or WiFi Wired Your gamertag or PSN ID (a PM is fine for this if you're uncomfortable posting this publicly) IronMask75 100% reproducable freeze when returning to Mine Encampment after a Delve. No action neded. Twice I froze while interacting with Niko to vendor. Next 2 times I just wait, freezes after a few seconds. I seem to recall this happening on league start in a previous league. I have cleared cache and rebuilt database. No change. Can't Delve. Some people have suggested using the PS5 version, but I don't want to do this until I have the Platinum for the PS4 version.
