When the game will be developed enough to spare resources on character customization, they may give out sliders so you could make your featureless human. For now, it is as obsolete as second tail for a dog.

The original idea was "all characters", not "an" and I'm sure no human on the planet wants all characters this way. People who get upset should turn on their brain before raging against people that do not align with this troll post. I have nothing against a single character this way as long as they design this character as cool as any other.

male/female is just a social construct anyway. You can just decide what your character is, no matter the physical appearance. :)

Agreed. Unnecessary and a waste of resources.

I think most players just want male/female for variety.
Some of us would still like to believe the RPG in ARPG means something.

Gender Neutral doesn't take away from world building, storyor most RPG elements if they're done right. However no modern ARPG has really done that, so players get fixated on their characters.

Because players have no choice but to fully involve their character. Catering to male/female hits the largest audience. Yea picking would be nice but so far they've done jack all for MTX conversions. Now add 3x the time. I might get to use half of them by 2030.

I mean, this doesn't look bad an it gives alot of freedom when it comes to interpretation of the characters gender:



And as soon as you equip MTX Armors, you don't see the characters anymore anyway. :)
