Im assuming they wanted to address far more pressing issues and also more of those issues affecting way more players than introducing 1 class would have.

Thats just me guessing tho and I get it, some players really want the old man in the game already.

Uhm chinese players will get their own server/client because they were forced to play international servers with a vpn, with all the issues this can provide.

When you guys talk about this server looks like china is going to have a complete different game and we will be thrown out of the world.
Wouldnt it be better performance for everyone if they have a dedicated server instead to connect to a server thousands of miles away?

How is this new server going to affect the player base?
Please explain this to me, i'm bit ignorant in tech stuff.

Act 4 means nothing. Many people HATE having to run the campaign anyway, they want to skip to map running as fast as possible.

This game now has few thousand players. You can see in steam charts, that the guys who log during the far-east rush hour are substantial part of the player base, and they wouldn't be here at 0.3.0.

Do you really think that two ascendancies can keep players busy until the winter holidays?

I guess you will be playing with yourself this patch ...

Do not think about this as "game server close to them".

This will no longer be POE 2. They get separate client, separate dev team, separate game logic.

For all means and purposes, those chinse players will be as good as dead to you.
You cannot interact with them by any means.

You cannot trade to them anything, just as you cannot trade to someone playing word of warcraft.

It is another game.

No I dont.

I do think that this game thus far has been disappointing across the board with few exceptions and I dont think that introducing Druid or whichever other class is going to change any of that.


GGG needs nothing short of a miracle to turn this mess around.

Why do you think I said they´d need a miracle?


Im still baffled when Im looking at the things they chose to be the USPs for this game and clearly expected it to work, otherwise they wouldnt have chosen those things.

I dont expect this patch to be that miracle to be completely honest but neither is introducing Druid.
They would need to admit that they were betting on the wrong horse all along and thats hard to do.

They will have to adapt to reality at some point but that might take a looong time.

Got it, so in the end it will only affect the market.
but if have to choose between better performance, no lag bs n stuff, and less stuff to trade i'd definitely choose the first one.
This is probably because i dont trade much but i can see the downside for those player used to trade more then playing the game, hideout warriors right?

Will there be any punishment for them to join our server to trade?
Since this will be a major issue for chinese traders too.

I mean is there some physical limit for them to join our server and trade? Like their stashes arent shared across servers and stuff like this?

Anyway, druid is here, do not panic.

You are hyping up the crowd for no reason or you are trolling.

First leak you are reffering to (poe2db) was unconfirmed, it's just DB update.

Second leak, the guy who leaked the whole 0.3 had way too many screenshots which is all legit and taken down by GGG. He thought he could share it, I think he misunderstood when the info could be released. He confirmed no new class in the update. A lot of changes to classes though.
