For example: - Lots of players who are interested in the game or ARPGs in general have already bought EA acces at launch. - Hype through gaming media etc. was a looooooot bigger at launch - Steam only shows their own numbers, I'd bet at least 50% (probably even more) of PoE 2 player play through the standalone client.
