Can't get the Runic Book of Knowledge I for my Atlas

The game tells me to talk to Dannig in order to get the Book I, but I have already talked to him both in my hideout and in Kingsmarch and I'm unable to get the book no matter what I do (I already habe the Book II at this point).

Is it bugged? If not, what am I supposed to do in order to get the Book I for my two Expedition Atlas passives?

Same problem here. Active quest but no actuall book from Danning

@edit: After returning to the hideout, Dannig appeared and I received BoK I ;)

Did an expedition map, spotted Dannig, blow up the buried treasures and monsters. Ended waystone map.

Return to Hideout. Dannig is not present in Hideout nor interactable in any shape or form to progress Quest task - Take the Runic Book of Knowledge from Dannig.

Sigh.
Problem bug still exist as of today, 5mins ago.

Sorry not sure how to solve the problem, but you need to talk to Dannig at the first expedition site before closing the map.

You may find that you need to wait till the next map where Dannig appears.

This just happened to me. Speaking to Dannig in the map makes no difference. He just doesn't offer you the book. Clearly a bug.

I was able to get a book by going to someone else's hideout that had Dannig.

This actually did the trick for me. Thank you!

First you need to locate Expedition (Area contains a Kalguuran Expedition) icon on Map Device, do the map and you will see Dannig, talk to him and you will complete Speak to Dannig. After that he will ask you to get the runic book of knowledge from Dannig. To do this, you need to go back to your hideout, Press edit, go to NPC tab, find Dannig and then click dismiss below his icon (move your mouse cursor to Dannig icon to popup dismiss text). Then, place Dannig to your hideout and you can talk to him for the Runic Book

I'll be trying this tonight as well. I cannot add Dannig to my hideout and haven't encountered him since. Perhaps this will set things straight.
