Abyss green laser mobs are OVERTUNED

This is just a joke. I'm literally obliterate the map and then these bastards coming from the nowhere and killing me in one second. Don't you guys have testers or something?

They supposedly fixed them but the degen close to them MELTS me, so idk what they fixed, but the small degen aura is still complete garbage

I had a hard time with that until I decided to move slightly to the left. Game changing.

So the mob by itself is difficult but not unreasonable, there are two key things in my mind that make it unreasonable:

1) the number of abyssal mobs that spawn around it, good luck getting to it if you're a melee lol, and good luck dodging it when the area is more crowded than a bar in a college town the day after the last final exam.

2) Abyssal FPS hit (the REAL challenge mechanic this league). Anywhere abyssal spawns my FPS nosedives. I go from ~100+ FPS (9800x3d & 5080) to sub 20 FPS, it's absolutely insane.

So to summarize, we have an already challenging and borderline overturned mob, that spawns in the biggest mob swarm the game has ever seen, while your FPS tanks to sub 20.

Because every single complaint is ridiculous the GREEN LASER YOU JUST MOVE LEFT OR RIGHT LMAO IT BARELY tracks you as an example.

I recently had 3 rares with those lasers at the same time. It was some of the most dogshit experience in 0.3 I had so far. Ofc it is easy if you are 1 on 1 with them.

Somehow i've gotten used to the timing so I reflexively dodge out of the way as their tracking stops and they blast their beam away from me. Hurts like hell if I forget to

Like, what is your config that you're only at 100fps normally? Outside heavy combat I'm usually somewhere between 180 and 220. Not saying they don't have some work to do optimizing but I feel like this might be partially on you.

I dont mind the lasers, as stated before you can dodge out of the way, however the degen/chaos aura you mention is an issue.

I thought it was chaos damage at first since it's black/green but even at 75 chaos res the aura/puddle kills me, not to mention you cant just pull the mob out of his puddle since he will blink to you and you're back at square one.

Using a ranged ability is the safer option, or killing him in one hit I suppose.

the damage is ok. but the stun effect thats the real deal with this mob. u cant even cast specially using bonestorm with 1sec min cast time..
